Styrian Sounds 2026Friday
Graz-based Lukas Wasserman aka MODEST ODA has been working on his own version of indie electronic for years. Live with a great band and radio airplay from Germany to Canada!
At Styrian Sounds
- 2024
Modest Oda is cutting loose from one's own musical roots. The softening of self-imposed boundaries. The abstraction of a voice that has been heard at number one in the Soundportal charts, at the Graz Kasematten or as support for Lola Marsh or Bosse.
- 2021
The origin lies in alternative rock in 2010. Guitar and bass are now replaced by two synthesizers, the drum kit gives way to a drum machine. The voice, layered with digital harmonies, is reshaped through the interplay of different effects.
